Toying with Time

Our instructor wanted to see the museum I'm interested in writing my paper on, so she invited us to go with her this afternoon to check it out. I went a few weeks ago, but today I wanted to get all the photos I could and talk to the staff about the museum for my paper.

It's a gorgeous building.

I focused on certain things, like Victorian objects, bears and pigs (because of my partner), and doll houses, because it might play into my paper or some other research.

That's a magic lantern above, but I love the factoid below. Toys = important!

Check out that marble bust!

Bears galore! Care Bear!

This was such a touching display.

Probably my favorite:

I love tiger stripes too!

It was a good, quick trip to the museum, and I found the one thing my partner had sent me on a mission for in the book shop: Piglet's signature:

And look, our porch cat, Phantom. A little taste of Missippippi:

Dahl's House and the End of Matilda June

I seem to have a doll house theme, as well as a Dahl theme, so it's pretty fitting that my last full day was the day I scheduled my trip...
